Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of authltd.com. They are short on purpose: this is an informational website, and the things that actually matter commercially live in a signed agreement, not here.

What these terms cover
By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
These terms cover the website only — the pages, the text, the images and the contact form. They are not a proposal, a quote, or an offer to enter into a contract, and nothing on this site should be treated as professional advice.
Client work is governed separately
If we work together, that work is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both parties — covering scope, fees, timelines, intellectual property in the deliverables, confidentiality, data processing and liability.
Where anything on this website conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement wins. Descriptions of our services here are a summary of what we typically do, not a commitment about what we will do for you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site unlawfully, or to break any applicable regulation;
- submit anything through the contact form that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- send automated, bulk or unsolicited commercial messages through the contact form;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
- scrape, mirror or systematically extract the site's content for commercial use without our written permission.
We may withdraw access to the site, or stop responding to enquiries, if these terms are breached.
Intellectual property
We own or are licensed to use everything on this site: the text, layout, design, graphics, code and the AUTH name and wordmark. These are protected by copyright, trade mark and other rights.
You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own reference or to evaluate working with us. You may not reuse our content commercially, or republish it, without our written permission.
Third-party names and logos shown on this site — including in the “Built with” row, which lists tools we use rather than clients we work for — belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement, partnership or affiliation.
Portfolio, testimonials and figures
Project examples, testimonials and figures on this site are illustrative. They describe work we have done for other organisations, in their circumstances.
They are not a warranty, guarantee or prediction of the results you would get. Outcomes depend on your systems, your data, your team and your market.
Testimonials are the genuine views of the people named, given voluntarily and published with their permission. Where a quoted person has any connection to us beyond being a client, we disclose it. We do not publish incentivised or fabricated reviews.
We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free, and we may change it at any time.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party websites, including projects we have built and the tools we use. Those links are provided for information only.
We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and a link does not mean we endorse them.
Availability
We provide this site free of charge and make no promise that it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or any part of it without notice.
No warranties
This site and its content are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to this site, whether express or implied.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, we will not be liable to you for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything you rely on from it.
If you are a consumer, this clause does not affect your statutory rights.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Please check it when you use the site.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or the use of this site, are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country you live in.
